Pepper Hot, Red Peter
90 days. An old heirloom chili pepper said to originate from Appalachia in the USA. It is a HOT pepper with a fairly high scoville rating, and is often grown solely as an ornamental plant and as a conversation piece in the garden. This variety grows peppers that are very similar in appearance to a certain male organ, thus the name "peter pepper". Plants grow well in containers and will produce tremendous harvests of 4-5" long peppers that are roughly 1" wide.
